BetGames is hoping to tap into football fandom with the launch of Lucky Kicks, a penalty shootout-themed instant game.

The game presents pre-recorded footage of a real life penalty shootout as players wager on the number of penalties they believe will be scored out of three, with options to bet on the correct sequence of scored or missed penalties, as well as an outright bet on the number of goals scored.

BetGames has pre-recorded approximately 5,000 penalties for Lucky Kicks, and a new shootout will be played every 30 seconds to deliver fast-paced gameplay. The game can be tailored to the studio’s partners, placing bespoke branding in the middle of the goal.

Ian Catchick, Chief Product and Business Development Officer at BetGames, stated: “BetGames consistently proves itself to be the go-to provider for unique, innovative gaming experiences that appeal to both sports bettors and casino enthusiasts.

“Lucky Kicks is our most recent creation which mirrors the anticipation and excitement of a penalty shootout. However, unlike elite-level shootouts, which happen rarely, this game provides a new shootout every 30 seconds with thousands of pre-recorded shots.

“Not only will it appeal to football fans, the chip-style betting will also generate interest from traditional casino players. Thanks to the opportunity for bespoke branding, the release will also be valuable to our operator partners that can deliver compelling gaming experiences while simultaneously enhancing brand exposure.”

The game extends BetGames’ fast-paced football-themed catalogue, after the studio previously launched Football Grid to offer instant wins in a shootout format.
