Betsoft Gaming has extended its instant game portfolio with the launch of a Greek mythology-themed plinko title, Olympus Plinko.
Following the studio’s previous plinko title Plinko Rush launched earlier this year, Betsoft has returned to the format for its latest game release Olympus Plinko, which sees players able to claim a range of multipliers, as well as several bonus features.
As a plinko title, players are tasked with dropping a ball passed an assortment of pins and into the end zone at the bottom of the plinko grid. Depending on where the ball lands, players can win a range of multiplied bet amount prizes, ranging from x0 to x500 their stake.
Each plinko ball that players drop into play will be worth a specific stake amount, but players can choose to drop between one and 100 balls on one spin.
Varying levels of volatility are also available in this game, altering the prizes available at the bottom of the grid.
When selecting the low volatility option, prizes range from x0.1 to x30, while the ‘normal’ option offers between x0.1 and x200. Finally, the ‘hot’ volatility option can award between x0 and x500.
The balls can pass through up to three special zones on the reels, which will cause them to gain multipliers that will enhance their payout when they reach the bottom of the grid. Passing through one, two or all three zones will apply x2, x4 or x6 multipliers to the balls.
Jonathan Crook, Team Lead Account Management at Betsoft Gaming, stated: “Olympus Plinko is an electrifying addition to our arcade portfolio, offering players an unprecedented level of control and personalization.
“With its stunning visuals, smooth gameplay, and innovative Prize Wheel mechanics, we’re confident this release will become an instant favourite.”
Additionally, the plinko balls can land in a ‘spin’ zone, which will instantly award one spin of a prize wheel that can offer multiplier prizes or one of two progressive jackpot prizes.
A meter sits above the plinko grid in this game, counting the number of balls that have been dropped into play. Once 1,700 have been dropped, players will gain a free spin of a prize wheel that can offer multiplier prizes or free balls.
Players can choose to select the ‘bump’ option while the plinko balls are dropping into play, which will cause the grid to shake to potentially change the course of each ball.
