Buzz Bingo is hoping to “enhance the UK bingo landscape” by allowing online and land-based customers to play simultaneously with the launch of Big Money Live

Broadcasted out of the Buzz Group brand’s dedicated studio in Derby, Big Money Live sessions will take place twice a day, seven days a week. Live bingo presenters will call the numbers with both online and retail players able to take part in the action. 

The UK bingo operator has joined forces with Playtech to bring Big Money Live to players, leveraging the igaming supplier’s retail bingo technology subsidiary ECM Systems to merge legacy systems with online platforms.

The Derbyshire-based studio uses 3D environments to “capture the essence of ‘old school’ bingo”, which the Buzz brand suggested is “becoming increasingly popular with new demographics”. 

The unified bingo experience will use lottery-style and prize-draw mechanics to offer players the chance to win prizes of up to six figures. Big Money Live is set to launch on 24 October with a prize pool worth £100,000.
