The CasinoBeats Summit 2021 conference and exhibition in Malta has been moved to the new dates of 13-15 July, when it will form a central part of the island’s first Summer iGaming Week (SIW2021).
CasinoBeats Summit is set to take place in an integrated live and online format, with 750 senior executives and decision makers from the igaming industry attending in person and an international audience joining remotely for a parallel virtual version of the event.
The wider SIW2021, delivered jointly by SBC Events, KPMG Malta and GamingMalta, features a programme of high-level business and networking events dedicated to both the world-class online casino sector on the island and the wider international industry.
It had been scheduled for May but, as part of the organisers’ ongoing assessment of the COVID-19 situation, it has been delayed for two months to allow for the easing of travel restrictions.
SIW2021’s first opportunity for igaming industry executives to come together to learn, share their experiences and ideas, and make new connections is the KPMG Malta Gaming eSummit at the Westin Dragonara in St Julian’s on 13 July.
CasinoBeats Summit will then take centre stage over the following two days, as the InterContinental in St Julian’s hosts a senior executive-level conference featuring some of the online casino industry’s biggest names and an exhibition showcasing the latest games and products.
Delegates attending in person will also have access to a series of evening networking events in stylish venues, which provide ideal settings for informal conversations with business contacts.
Online casino industry professionals unable to travel to Malta will be able to join CasinoBeats Summit remotely for live-streamed conference content, online networking sessions, product presentations, and a virtual visit to the exhibition.
Whether attending at the venue or participating online, all CasinoBeats Summit delegates can look forward to a conference agenda that focuses on the slots, live casino and poker verticals. The content will deliver valuable insights on commercial, operational and regulatory issues for operators, affiliates, games studios, platform providers, and content aggregators.
Outside the conference rooms, there will be a great opportunity to get a first look at the latest titles from both established and up-and-coming studios in the iGames Showcase. The games presented will all be in contention for the CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards on 15 July.
SBC CEO and founder, Rasmus Sojmark, said: “We’re keen to resume staging physical events as soon as possible, and people from across the industry have told us that they are equally keen for them to return. However, we’re happy to delay that return until July, as we know the new dates are more practical for the delegates, partners and sponsors who wish to participate.
“We’re excited that our first event back will be CasinoBeats Summit and Summer iGaming Week. Malta is home to many of the world’s leading igaming companies and a huge talent pool, so delegates can look forward to an outstanding line-up of high-level speakers ready to share their ideas about the future of the industry, some fantastic entries for the first ever Game Developer Awards, and a host of excellent networking opportunities.”
