Comtrade Gaming has found its latest destination for European expansion after gaining approval to provide igaming content in Romania.

The move embellishes Comtrade Gaming with a Romanian supplier licence, which will allow the company to offer titles produced by its in-house studio, CG Games, to operators active in the Southeastern European nation.

“This is a key step for CG Games,” said Comtrade Gaming’s Chief Commercial Officer, Steven Valentine. “We have been very successful in the Romanian market for many years, with our igaming Platform, and this extension of our licence means we can increase our offering to our partners.

“It also now allows us to work with all operators in that market, regardless of the platform they use, and we are very excited to bring our games to this market.”

Gaining access to the Romanian market will allow CG Games to gain increased visibility for its proprietary content catalogue, which includes titles such as Sweet Treasure, Crash Soccer, Gem Miner, Diamond King and Break the Bank.

Comtrade Gaming branched out into content development earlier this year through the launch of CG Games, an in-house studio producing a range of different game formats including slots and crash games.

Explaining the decision to launch its own studio, Valentine commented: “With CG Games, we are poised to introduce a new era of innovation and creativity, setting new standards for excellence in game development. It also allows us to partner with many more operators outside our traditional igaming platform space.”
