ELA Games has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Marharyta Yerina as Managing Director.
Yerina brings more than 12 years of finance and operations experience to the iGaming software development studio.
She joins ELA Games from another online casino supplier, Evoplay, where she worked as Head of Finance and as Chief Financial Officer over the past four years.
“Joining ELA Games, a rapidly growing and dynamic company in iGaming, is an exciting prospect for me as I anticipate having a key role in its development,” commented Yerina on her new role.
“I look forward to using my expertise and knowledge to help make meaningful operational changes to see the company realise its potential and maintain its positive growth trajectory.”
Last month, David Fall, ELA Games’ Business Development Manager, took part in the latest Beyond the Reels episode and talked about the studio’s gaming title that features a retro arcade twist, Cash Crab.
In conversation with iGaming Expert, Fall explained how the title was inspired by ELA’s move to a new office that was once an arcade hall.
Fall said: “It had lots of arcade machines, and the owner decided to create something instead of wasting such an opportunity. The principle was to create a nostalgic experience for players, [and they can] have a sense of familiarity and nostalgia while playing this game.
“It took two years to develop. It seems like a simple process just to get the little camera and joystick but it was a very complicated process for turning it into an online-based game.”
Later this week on 17 April, Yaroslav Soloshenko, Senior Business Development Manager at ELA Games, will be taking part in a panel at the upcoming SBC Digital Casino event.
Soloshenko will be featured on a panel titled ‘Boosting the appeal of live casino to next-gen players’ alongside Lourdes Lopez, Head of Casino at Rivalo, as well as Silvia Tavella, Global SEO Lead at Betsson Group.
The panel will discuss how to acquire and retain players through live casino products.
