EveryMatrix is ready to take its next Canadian iGaming leap after receiving a conditional licensing approval from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC).

The licence will allow EveryMatrix to provide licensed operators in Alberta with its casino and sports platform technologies, as well as premium titles from its in-house studio, Fantasma Games, and aggregated content with further opportunities to expand.

Alberta is set to launch its iGaming market later this year on 13 July.

Rani Axon, Market Manager for North America, EveryMatrix, noted: “Entering Alberta marks an exciting step for the Group as we expand further into one of North America’s most attractive regulated markets.

“This approval shows the strength of our compliance team and our readiness to meet regulatory requirements in any market.”

EveryMatrix has already secured commercial opportunities to deliver both platform and in-house gaming content in Alberta, where many operators plan to acquire a licence for the Canadian province.

Pre-registration for residents ahead of opening day has already opened up with PointsBet and Caesars Entertainment, while plans to enter the market have been confirmed by BetMGM, DraftKings, FanDuel and Betway.

SBC Summit Canada is taking place this week from 19–21 May at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, bringing together operators, suppliers, regulators and affiliates at a pivotal moment for the Canadian gaming industry.

EveryMatrix’s North American growth continues with the Alberta licence, as the supplier is also licensed in Ontario and the US states of Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
