EveryMatrix has confirmed that it has been granted a manufacturer’s licence in South Africa.
The platform provider will now be able to provide operators in the Western Cape with its solutions following approval from the province’s Gambling and Racing Board.
Mark Schmidt, EveryMatrix’s Managing Director for Africa, commented: “Bringing our full suite of turnkey platform products into South Africa under our new licence is enabling us to power some of the biggest brands here, giving them access to technology that will instantly unlock their potential and drive market growth.
“Our casino, sports, PAM, payments, games and content aggregation and affiliate management solutions, supported by our local experts who understand their needs and challenges, are providing an offering no one else has been able to offer so far in South Africa and across the continent.”
According to EveryMatrix, seeking expansion in Africa through new licences complements the company’s July 2024 acquisition of FSB Technology – a sportsbook solutions provider which held a significant presence in Africa.
“[The acquisition] allows us to accelerate this process, diversify our customer and revenue profiles, while simultaneously migrating customers to a stronger, high-performing product proven to deliver exceptional results,” said EveryMatrix’s CEO, Ebbe Groes, at the time of the acquisition.
“This transaction facilitates our long-term growth strategy of entering and growing within a greater number of regulated markets, including the UK, Ireland and Africa, where many FSB clients operate.”
Preceding the acquisition of FSB, EveryMatrix inked a partnership with BetKing in Nigeria. The company then further expanded its African presence through a similar deal with MBet in Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
