The future direction of the sports betting industry is the central theme of the Betting on Sports Europe 2021 conference and exhibition, which takes place at Stamford Bridge, London on November 9-11.
The event comes as the industry faces regulatory, operational and reputational challenges brought about by changes to market conditions, consumer behaviour and government attitudes in established regulated markets. At the same, a new set of market opportunities is emerging in recently-regulated territories.
SBC’s renowned Betting on Sports events are established as the leading forum for the sector’s primary decision makers to exchange ideas and collaborate on industry-wide issues, and the 2021 edition will build on that status.
The year’s largest dedicated sports betting conference will feature a heavyweight agenda focused on the key issues that the industry must address, complemented by a line-up of 160 high-level speakers all ready to share their insights into how to develop a sustainable future for the sector.
With tracks dedicated to industry leadership, utilising new technology to improve customer experience, best practice in payments and compliance, the future of sports betting, marketing strategies, and regulatory developments in key markets, the conference will provide a comprehensive assessment of the next steps for the industry.
Confirmed speakers include Tim de Borle (CEO, Napoleon Sports & Casino), Paris Smith (CEO, Pinnacle), Daniel Graetzer (CEO, Carousel Group), Niels Onkenhout (CEO, Nederlandse Loterij), Mark Skinner (chief people officer, William Hill), and Harj Hir (head of partnerships, Leicester City FC).
They will be joined at the home of the UEFA Champions League holders Chelsea FC by an audience of more than 2,000 senior executives, with representatives from all the continent’s major operators, along with regulators, innovative suppliers, sports integrity specialists, and sports organisations.
Rasmus Sojmark, founder & CEO of event organiser SBC, said: “It’s great to be back in London after two years and to be staging the UK’s biggest industry event of 2021.
“To mark our return to our home city we have put together an outstanding conference, which will see many of the most influential senior executives in European sports betting sharing their assessments of the major issues and ideas for how the industry can tackle its biggest challenges.”
In addition to the six-track conference, Betting on Sports Europe delegates can also look forward to an exhibition showcasing the latest innovations from 30 leading suppliers and some of SBC’s renowned evening networking events, all of which are included with the pass.
A limited number of Early Bird passes are available from the event’s website, providing a saving of £240 on the standard cost of the full access pass.
