Habanero has praised the current state of Greece’s online casino market after entering the nation by gaining a supplier licence.

As a result of the approval, Habanero has gained a licence to offer its proprietary slot content in the Greek market and form partnerships with online casino operators in the nation.

Arcangelo Lonoce, Head of Business Development at Habanero, said: “Getting our Greek licence is another exciting milestone for us as we look to expand our reach into this vibrant market in 2025.”

The Bulgarian slot provider explained how Greece boasts a ‘vibrant’ market as the nation’s regulated market size is expected to reach around $1.9bn by 2029.

Greek online casino operators will benefit from the deal by being able to sign content partnerships with Habanero and gain access to the studio’s in-house slots, with games such as Hot Hot Fruit, Mystic Fortune Deluxe and Zeus Deluxe.

Habanero’s recent slot release Hyper Hues will also become available to Greek players, a slot set in outer space that offers 50-paylines and a maximum win worth x3,116 the player’s wager.

Lonoce added: “Following our Brazil licence, this is another great moment for us as we look to get the year off to a strong start, and keep building on it.”

As Lononce pointed out, the Greek move follows the studio’s recent entry into Brazil, becoming one of many online casino providers to stake their flag in the nation’s newly-regulated iGaming sector.

Lonoce celebrated the Brazilian entry, stating: “Stepping into the Brazilian market is an exciting moment for Habanero, highlighting our commitment to expanding worldwide.

“We’ve always had our sights set on Latin America, and with Brazil becoming a regulated market, we see amazing opportunities for growth.”
