iGaming platform iGamingNuts.com has unveiled its new affiliate site.
Similar to other affiliates in the sector, the new site will provide casino reviews, free slots demos and game guides, as well as casino and slot comparison tools for players.
Notably, the site will supply an iGN rating and safety index for casinos. According to iGamingNuts, the iGN rating “assesses casinos based on safety, fairness, game variety, user experience and bonuses”.
Each casino is awarded a percentage-based score across the categories.
Meanwhile, the safety index focuses on “casino security, responsible gambling tools and regulatory compliance”.
Natalia Sxula, Head of the iGaming Nuts.com project and Editor-in-Chief, commented: “Our mission is simple: ‘Play smart, choose wisely – Your ultimate tool for winning.”
The release also reiterated the platform’s commitment to “ensuring safe and legal gameplay by collaborating only with licensed and legal operators”.
Affiliates impacted by Google updates
The launch of the site comes at a time when affiliates are preparing for the potential impact of changes to Google’s gambling and gaming ad policy, set to come into effect on 14 April.
Advertisers will now be required to provide additional documentation to prove they are authorised to operate in the regions where their ads are displayed, with documentation including valid licences and the clear display of responsible gambling messaging.
Forming part of a raft of recent tweaks to its advertising policies, this latest move from the search engine seeks to clarify its stance on ‘gambling’ and ‘gambling-promoting content’.
Any website that provides direct links to online gambling or facilitates gambling services will now be classified as a gambling promoter.
Under Google’s new policy, the traditional affiliate model of directing players to licensed sites through embedded links could find itself in a precarious position.
