Following the certification of a range of Kalamba Games’ slot titles in Sweden, the studio is preparing to enter what it has lauded as “another key European market”, further strengthening its commercial growth.
Among the nine titles that are now ready for distribution to Swedish operators are Atlantis Thunder, Burning Diamonds, Griffin’s Quest and a selection of Kalamba’s Joker series.
“It’s pleasing to mark our entry into yet another important market in Europe, one which, as recent numbers attest, is continuing to perform strongly,” commented Alex Cohen, COO and co-founder at Kalamba Games.
“It’s a further step for our growth ambitions and a fantastic shop window for the high quality, diverse range of games that we produce. It’s a great way to begin rounding off a busy year for new partnerships and territories and we’re looking forward to continuing in a similar vein in 2022.”
Kalamba’s entry is set to make the most of a rapidly growing industry in Sweden, where igaming continues to be the primary source of gambling revenue thanks to Q2 revenue, combined with sports betting, from the sector recently increasing 13.9 per cent year-on-year to SEK4.11bn.
The new certification is the latest market expansion for Kalamba in the last year, having recently entered Croatia, Portugal, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and been awarded an MGA licence.
