Microgaming has paid out a record jackpot win of over €19m on it’s Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah slot title.
Claimed by a Belgian player at the Napoleon Sports & Casino on April 27, 2021, the Mega Moolah progressive jackpot win, €19,430,723.60, marked the largest ever jackpot win on Microgaming’s Mega Moolah, which previously held the record for the world’s largest payout in an online slot machine – which it has now beaten for a second time with this latest win.
John Coleman, CEO at Microgaming, commented: “I’m delighted to see another big jackpot win so soon after Mega Moolah dropped for €19.4 million in April. My congratulations go to Optibet and their player on this brilliant win. This is something of a milestone for Microgaming, being the 100th euro millionaire made on our progressive jackpot network.”
The €19.4m win comes hot on the heels of two top-tier jackpots triggered on Microgaming’s WowPot jackpot, which paid out a huge €17,529,047.11 and €2,025,388.75 on April 14 and April 19 respectively. As with all wins on Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network, the winner will receive their prize as a lump sum.
Developed exclusively for Microgaming by Triple Edge Studios, Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah takes players down the rabbit hole in search of gold coins and big wins, serving up a magical gameplay experience infused with vibrant artwork and wonderful win potential.
Launched in May 2020, this whimsical progressive jackpot slot is just one in a series of new titles to feature Mega Moolah. The game has now conjured up more than 500,000 wins and over €46m in prizes across all jackpot tiers.
Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network has paid out more than €1.3bn across all jackpots, tiers and games to date.
On the payout, Chris Davis, CPO at Optibet, added: “We were thrilled to hear the news that one of our players had struck the Mega jackpot on the legendary Mega Moolah. Not only was it the first Mega jackpot to be hit at Optibet.com, but it’s also a tremendous multi-million-euro prize!”
