Microgaming has announced 16 new slot releases in its 2021 spring roadmap, including both new releases and sequels, in cooperation with a range of partners.
Kickstarting the season was Real Roulette with Matthew, produced by Real Dealer Studios, released on 25 February. The slot is set in a private luxury casino and features the debonair croupier Matthew, adding ‘a personal touch to the roulette experience’.
Beginning the following month will be the movie-themed Terminator 2, now available on mobile, followed by Eyecon’s Fluffy Favourites Megaways the following day, now featuring the Megaways add-on.
Pop, from Big Time Gaming, will bring an American seaside setting, while introducing the new Dual Reel feature whilst players will set sail in Gong Gaming Technologies’ Pirate’s Quest, where ships are collected to maintain course towards the 10x multiplier on the Progressive Map.
The next day will see the release of the highly volatile, 40-payline slot Emerald Gold from Just For the Win, in which players must collect golden clovers to unlock cash prizes. This will be followed by Iron Dog Studios’ Megaways title, Rainbow Wilds Megaways.
A sporting theme will emerge on 11 March, with the high-volatility Basketball Star on Fire by Pulse 8 Studios, including the HyperHold feature and retriggering free spins.
Returning to a mythical theme is SpinPlay Game’s Amazing Link: Zeus, due for release on 16 March, in which players must land six or more Amazing symbols to trigger respins, during which new Amazon symbols can unlock even more spins.
This title will feature Mini, Major and Mega jackpots, with the latter claimed by landing 15 Amazon symbols for 5,000x the stake. Additionally, matching three symbols can generate the jackpot in the Zeus Pick feature.
The following day will see the launch of All41 Studios’ deep space slot Solar Winds, with colourful celestial orbs covering the reels and a Wild Respins bonus.
Fire Forge from Stormcraft Studios carries on the fantasy overtones, set in the deep forges of a fantasy realm, where dwarven metalworkers craft weapons and other items. The high-volatility slot, due for release on 23 March, has 243-ways-to-win, a Rolling Reels mechanic and a free spins multiplier trail, which will see players aim to win a jackpot of over 50,000x the stake.
Furthermore, 24 March will see the launch of Stellar Ways by 1×2 Gaming. Like Solar Winds, this is a cosmic-set slot, featuring gemstones, planetoids and the potential for big wins. The same day will see the launch of Gimme Gold! Megaways, taking place in the Wild West.
Just For The Win will return on 25 March with Sherlock and Moriarty Wowpot. The title includes the Wowpot! Progressive Jackpot Wheel with a starting seed of €2 million, as well as a Mystery Respins feature, triggered by landing five Mystery Symbols, in which all Wilds and Mystery Symbols become sticky.
Closing the month is Japanese cuisine-oriented Bushi Sushi on 29 March, along with Toi Planet from MGA, a ‘cartoon space adventure’ featuring bonus games. Finally, the month will conclude with Fortune Factory Studio’s Amber Sterling’s Mystic Shrine on 30 March, set in a dense jungle with multiple features.
