Play’n GO has taken its first steps in the South African market as the slot developer secured its debut in the nation via Betway

The deal will see Play’n GO bring its catalogue of over 350 in-house games to South Africa for the first time, offering the content to Betway to enhance the operator’s slot offering.

Partnering with Betway to reach players in South Africa signals the slot developer’s latest expansion effort, with the studio’s content now available in over 30 jurisdictions worldwide.

Magnus Olsson, Chief Commercial Officer at Play’n GO, said: “We’re thrilled to be making our first foray into the South African market following this partnership with Betway.

“We are on the record as saying that we are committed to being active in every regulated market in the world, and it’s always exciting to add a new market for our business.

“Betway is one of the premiere betting brands, and we look forward to many years of success together in one of their most popular markets globally.”

Following the agreement, the slot developer will reach its first set of players in South Africa by hosting slots such as Book of Dead, Reactoonz and Rise of Olympus on Betway’s South African platform.

Phillip Superamonien, Country Manager, Betway South Africa, added: “We’re excited to be the exclusive hosts of Play’n GO’s legendary portfolio of games on our platform here in South Africa, and we’re confident our customers will be just as excited as we are.

“Betway is committed to offering bettors in South Africa the best casino games experience possible, and having Play’n GO’s games on our platform is another step toward displaying our commitment in offering our customers the most popular and entertaining gaming content, in a safe, secure and responsible environment.”

Play’n GO’s content offering in the country could include our latest Slot of the Week pick, Rise of Olympus Origins, a 5×5 reel slot with cluster-pays and a maximum win of x12,000 the player’s bet.
