SBC Summit Malta is expanding its educational programme to include in-depth explorations of sports betting, payments, and other key topics, ensuring a comprehensive reflection of the challenges and opportunities shaping the European betting and gaming industry.
Evolving from its predecessor, CasinoBeats Summit—renowned for its acute focus on game design, affiliation, and marketing— the rebranded SBC Summit Malta will now also feature dedicated tracks on a broader range of topics, ensuring the event caters to every professional in the industry.
The event will take place on 10-12 June, at the Intercontinental Hotel in Saint Julian’s, bringing together 5,500 industry professionals from Malta—widely regarded as Europe’s iGaming hub—and other key European markets.
Rasmus Sojmark, CEO & Founder of SBC, said: “With the transition to SBC Summit Malta, we’ve significantly expanded the scope of the conference agenda, ensuring that professionals across more, or rather all, industry verticals can find what they’re looking for at the event.”
Technological innovation will take centre stage, with artificial intelligence (AI) emerging as a crucial theme of this year’s agenda. Sessions will explore how AI-driven systems like ChatGPT and Bard can be optimised to enhance SEO performance, delve into AI’s role in diversifying marketing channels and improving HR initiatives, and showcase how AI tools can craft innovative, engaging and tailored marketing campaigns.
Regulation will also be a key focus at the event, with a variety of panels breaking down the regulatory frameworks of key European markets. Experts will lead discussions covering Italy’s new gambling licencing landscape, strategies for navigating Germany’s strict regulatory framework and the implications of the UK Gambling Commission’s proposed operator levy. Additionally, panels will tackle the complexities of navigating black, grey, and regulated European markets.
Apart from the traditional panels, the conference will place a strong emphasis on interactive learning, with a series of hands-on workshops addressing some of the industry’s most significant challenges. These workshops will address topics such as combatting bonus abuse, understanding the latest trends in game design, and strategies for acquiring, retaining, and growing VIP audiences.
Back by popular demand, the SEO Trilogy will return after standout performances in 2023 and 2024. This three-part series will provide an outlook on the latest SEO trends and strategies, delving into the rise of Black hat SEO tactics, safeguarding brands from negative SEO attacks, aligning affiliate content with evolving AI behaviours, and optimising multichannel marketing efforts.
Several panels on player protection will put player welfare at the center of the conversation. During these sessions, delegates will explore developments in fraud prevention technologies, strategies to combat bonus abuse and ways to enhance customer services to identify problem gambling. These sessions will also include a retrospective look at landmark industry cases related to player protection, providing delegates with the knowledge to balance player safety, with compliance and business success.
With its expanded scope and six dedicated educational tracks covering casino, regulation, affiliation, sports betting, payments and marketing—alongside a dedicated workshop space—SBC Summit Malta will be the must-attend event for industry professionals looking to stay ahead in the evolving European betting and gaming landscape.
