Swintt has confirmed that its information security meets international regulatory standards by obtaining certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
The slot supplier has gained the iGaming industry’s ’gold standard’ for trust and compliance – an ISO 27001: 2022 certification.
David Mann, Chief Executive Officer at Swintt, commented: “Acquiring ISO 27001: 2022 certification is definitely the gold standard for any operator or software provider looking to showcase its commitment to information security compliance and best practice, so I’m absolutely thrilled that Swintt will now be able to proudly display the organisation’s badge on our website and products.”
Lauding the certificate as a ‘major milestone’, Swintt expects that gaining said approval will allow the company to enhance its expansion efforts and help it enter new markets.
Considered a ‘must-have’ accreditation in several global jurisdictions, obtaining the ISO certification will prove Swintt’s dedication to security to further raise the brand’s credibility to new partners.
Mann continued: “Given the importance that safeguarding sensitive data and ensuring your methods are up to recognised regulatory requirements has within the iGaming, I’m very optimistic that adding ISO certification to Swintt’s extensive list of accolades will open up many doors for us in the months to come, be it through creating new partnerships opportunities or helping us enter new markets.”
With this move allowing Swintt to bolster its expansion plans, the studio has recently focused on growth across mainland Europe.
In recent deals, the provider has gathered pace in the German market by agreeing to a deal with Jokerstars, while expanding its presence in the Netherlands with Hommerson.
