ThrillTech has been granted a licence from the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC) in Greece, bringing its services to another European iGaming market.
Side-bet jackpot product ThrillPots is now available to regulated iGaming operators in the Greek market after a Category A1 Manufacturer’s Licence was awarded to ThrillTech.
Securing its own regulatory licences and certifications, ThrillTech stated that its jackpot technology is entirely independent of casino games and betting products on an iGaming operator’s platform.
Giles Potter, Chief Marketing Officer at ThrillTech, noted: “As we continue to expand internationally, we’re especially proud of this approval, as it makes ThrillTech the first specialist iGaming jackpot provider to be licensed in Greece.
“We can’t wait to roll out in the market and demonstrate how our side-bet jackpot model delivers compelling new engagement mechanics which delight players while generating significant new revenues for our operator partners.”
Since core game mathematics are not interfered with and a game’s return-to-player (RTP) probabilities are not altered, ThrillTech applies for appropriate licences and certifications for ThrillPots to operate its proprietary random number generator (RNG) software.
Such software calculates independent side-bet jackpot outcomes, which have a separate operator-defined RTP and are funded by jackpot side bets placed by opted-in players.
ThrillTech is licensed or certified in several European markets including the United Kingdom, Sweden, the Netherlands, Romania, Malta and the recently announced Gibraltar, in addition to markets across the Americas in Brazil, Peru and the Canadian province of Ontario.
