Vegangster has unveiled a new PvP mechanic which allows players to challenge each other.
The new feature is built directly into Vegangster’s platform, allowing operators to place it in areas such as the casino homepage or high-visibility lobby sections.
Through the mechanic, which first went live with Vegangster’s partner JoyCasino, a player starts a round by placing the first bet, creating an open battle visible to others. Players are then able to place bets into the pool, and the winner is decided by a random roll, with probability weighted by bet size.
According to Vegangster, the PvP mechanic introduces a social layer inside the casino lobby, as players are encouraged to react in real time and compete for shared prize pools.
Michael Oziransky, Chief Product Officer at Vegangster, commented: “This mechanic introduces real-time competition directly into the lobby. Players can see activity, react to it, and challenge each other instantly. Combined with chat, it turns the lobby into a more social, responsive space while creating an additional, low-cost revenue stream for operators.”
The release of PvP continues Vegangster’s wider product strategy, which is focused on rolling out new social engagement features, and last month the firm unveiled a lootbox mechanic inspired by video games.
As with video games, players purchase lootboxes for a fixed price and receive rewards based on predefined probabilities, and the value of the box may exceed its cost. Rewards include cash, digital items, NFTs or other operator-defined assets, and players are able to keep the prize or sell it back for cash.
