Videoslots has appointed a new CEO and rebranded itself to Immense Group to better reflect its brands and current structure.
Since its establishment in 2011, Videoslots has transformed from an online casino into the parent company of five consumer-facing brands: Videoslots, Mr Vegas, Kungaslottet, Mega Riches and DBET.
The company says the rebrand to Immense reflects its “growth, ambition, and commitment to innovation” and can help “better unlock the potential of each brand” while maintaining its values and culture.
“Videoslots Group has an impressive track record in a fast-growing, rapidly changing industry,” commented Alexander Stevendahl, CEO and Co-Founder of Videoslots.
“Adopting the Immense Group name shows our ambition to keep evolving and paving the way for future growth for each individual brand.”
As part of the rebrand, Jesper Kärrbrink has been appointed as the CEO of Immense Group AB, bringing more than 20 years of igaming experience to the newly established holding company based in Stockholm, Sweden.
His experience includes serving as CEO at Mr Green, an evoke online casino brand, and the Swedish state-backed operator Svenska Spel, as well as Chair of Pariplay, CEGO A/S and Internet Vikings.
Kärrbrink stated: “The Videoslots journey is a true success story. With four additional brands and a new corporate structure, now is the perfect time to introduce a new umbrella brand that carries the strong Videoslots culture into its next chapter.”
Immense noted that while its corporate identity rebrands, its five consumer brands will remain unchanged. However, its social media channels will adjust to either @Immense or @LifeAtImmense depending on the platform.
Last week, Spelinspektionen announced that Sweden’s Administrative Court reviewed and agreed with its decision to issue a penalty to Videoslots for anti-money laundering failings, but the court reduced the regulator’s penalty fee from SEK 9m to SEK 4m.
