Igaming developer Wazdan has signed a content agreement with StarCasino to begin its maiden voyage into the Italian market.
The partnership with the Betsson Group online casino brand will see an array of Wazdan’s titles launch on its StarCasino platform, including Hold the Jackpot titles such as Sun of Fortune, Power of Gods: Egypt and Fortune Reels.
Andrzej Hyla, Chief Commercial Officer at Wazdan, said: “We’re delighted to have finally been able to penetrate the Italian market, with a brand as reputable and established in the region as StarCasino.
“Our slot products are kitted out with tools that are proven to boost engagement as well as the player’s sense of agency, and we expect the deal to cultivate our presence in the market effectively.”
With this deal, StarCasino can access more than just Wazdan’s games, as the studio’s Freedom of Choice suite will become available on the platform, allowing players to adjust various titles’ features including volatility levels.

This move adds to a busy summer for Wazdan, as it expanded its Swiss influence by securing three separate content deals with 7 Melons, Jackpots.ch and Casinó Lugano.
