Worthy of a place in Valhalla, Peter & Sons, in collaboration with Yggdrasil, recent title Valkyries flew in to claim our coveted Slot of the Week award.
A 5×3, 10-payline slot, the Norse-themed slot re-tells Richard Wagner’s renowned opera – Rise of the Valkyries – and follows the story of the Valkyries welcoming fallen heroes from the battlefield into Valhalla.

The low value symbols within the title consists of the traditional A-10 royal symbols, portrayed in a Norse stone font, and offer between €0.60 to €8, depending on the number of symbols that land and bet amount placed.
Alternatively, the higher value symbols come in the form of Norse helmets, Valkyrie warriors and Odin himself, offering rewards of €4 to €24, again depending on symbols that drop and the bet amount.
Within the base game, dropping wilds – the Norse helmets – can randomly appear on any reel. These wilds substitute for any other symbol, except the scatter. The scatter symbol is the bonus symbol. Two of these trigger the power reel which in turn activates the wild respins.

During the main game, if the player lands three scatters on the reels it unlocks the free spins bonus mode, awarding players with 10 spins. Moreover, the power reel is unlocked during the whole session.
Dropping wilds from the base spin are carried forward to power reel respins and drop one position.
In the base game, each new dropping wild on a base spin walks one position downwards in the next spin until it leaves the panel. Dropping wild positions are stored per bet level. Changing a bet when a dropping wild is present in the panel will remove it from next spin.
When dropping wilds appear on the power reel, it moves to the top position of the corresponding vertical reel. Dropping wilds can include a random multiplier.
Furthermore, locking wilds only appear when the wild reel is active. When a locking wild appears on the wild reel, it moves to any position of the corresponding vertical reel and remains sticky on that position until the feature ends. Locking wilds can include a random multiplier.
Two scatter symbols anywhere on the reels trigger a respin enabling the wild reel, a horizontal reel below the panel. The power reel spins and stops only once during the feature. It can have different reel modifiers which jump on the vertical reels.
Wild re-spins are triggered and re-spin until there are no dropping wilds left on the panel.
A locking wild in the power reel will award two guaranteed respins, even when there are no dropping wilds present.
