The title’s low value symbols are playing card suits of hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs. These symbols can offer x0.3 to x1.2 the player’s stake, depending on the combinations which land on the reels.

A bottle, an anchor, a compass and a pirate skull are the game’s high value symbols. Depending on what combinations appear on the reels following a spin, these symbols can offer x0.6 to x5 the player’s wager.

A ship wheel is the game’s wild symbol, which substitutes for all playing symbols and also has the chance to expand to cover an entire reel. These symbols can offer x2 to x20 the player’s bet depending on the combinations present on the reels. Up to three wilds on different reels can expand to cover their entire respective reels on a single spin.

A treasure chest represents the title’s bonus symbol. The game’s Pirate Bonus stage is activated if three or more bonus symbols land anywhere on the reels during a single spin, with the reels expanded to 5×5.

During the bonus stage, three free spins are given to the player, offering them a chance to collect as many bet multipliers as possible to add to their bet. Four different special symbols are present during this mode – a bet multiplier, a cannon, a pirate princess and a pirate captain.

The bet multiplier contributes to the total win on that spin, with the displayed number added to the total multiplier amount, which sits above the reels.

The cannon symbol adds an extra reel to the slot, with up to two extra reels possible. The pirate princess symbol boosts all visible multiplier values during the spin in which it appears with a value between one and four.

The pirate captain symbol adds the value of all visible bet multipliers together to become a bet multiplier with that total value, awarding it as an additional win to the total above the reels.

All special symbols stay locked in on the reels once they land until the end of the feature. When one or more special symbols or multipliers appear on the reels, the free spins counter is reset to three.

The bet is multiplied by the total multiplier amount at the end of the bonus stage to provide the player with a total win before they return to the base game.
