A beaver bonanza ensued as Thunderkick took players on a dam-good trip down a waterfall of wilds in Eager Beavers, our latest Slot of the Week selection.

The Swedish studio’s new release sees players navigate a beaver’s dam to try and unlock the reels’ full potential, as the grid starts with six reels and somewhere between an initial two, three, four or five rows on each spin.

Wins are formed when clusters of three or more identical symbols land adjacent to one another, vertically or horizontally. Each winning combination will then disappear from the reels, to be replaced by new symbols that drop in from the top.

To increase the chances of forming subsequent winning combinations, one additional symbol will cascade onto the grid to replace the winning symbols with a larger number of symbols.

This allows for up to one million ways to win, with players able to claim up to x10,000 their stake as the game’s maximum win. The slot has high volatility with an RTP of 94.29%.

“We’re excited to introduce Eager Beavers, our newest release that we know players will enjoy,” said Mike Collins, Game Product Owner at Thunderkick. “We have created a beautiful and whimsical environment where those beavers eagerly build up the reels, and that’s accompanied by a range of bonus features that offer a visually captivating and potentially rewarding experience.”

Golden nugget bonus scatters can land on the reels, triggering the cash bonus game mode when three land on the same spin.

In the cash bonus game mode, only cash prize symbols ranging from x1 to x100 can land on the reels, alongside a number of game-enhancing bonus symbols. The game starts with a board size similar to the base game, but this can be increased by the enhancing symbols.

One symbol drops into each position on the reels until all positions have been filled, which is when all prize symbols will be added together and applied to the player’s stake.

Collect swirl symbols can appear, collecting all prize symbols in its reel and adding them to its own value. This creates more space for further prize symbols to drop into play by removing the collected prizes from the reels.

The super collect swirl will perform this feature similarly but for all prize symbols across every reel.

Upgrade arrow symbols will enhance all prizes in their reels by a random multiplier of either x2, x3, x4 or x5. Super collects will apply one of the same multipliers to all prizes across every reel.

Additionally, the build hammer symbol will increase the size of the reel it lands into, while super hammer build symbols increase the sizes of all reels.

Two special wild symbols can appear in the base game, with fish symbols performing a wild splash feature that randomly selects one paytable symbol present on the reels and turns all iterations of it into a wild symbol.

Log symbols can also drop into play, performing a wild fall feature that causes a random number of wild symbols to drop in random locations on the reels. Landing six wilds in a winning combination will award x5 the player’s stake.
