At the beginning of each spin, there is a chance of triggering the following features before the reels stop spinning: random wilds, where random positions on the reels are substituted with wild symbols; wild reels, where every position on randomly selected reels are substituted with wild symbols; colossal reels, where randomly selected adjacent reels will fuse together, creating 2×2, 3×3, or 4×4 big symbols; or random multipliers, where a random multiplier of x2, x3, x4, or x5 applies to all line wins.
Furthermore, after each reel spin, the following features may also be triggered: a symbol upgrade, where all of a lower symbol chosen at random that is visible on the reels are upgraded to a randomly selected higher paying symbol; repeat win, where a winning spin repeats for free from two to five times; or instant win, which awards a random credit amount from x1 to x100.
Moving onto the trail bonus, this is activated by landing three or more bonus scatters. During the trail bonus, the armadillo begins at the start of a game board with a trail of spaces each with an award, feature, or a snake.
A pistol is repeatedly loaded with a random number of bullets from one to six which corresponds to the number of spaces the Armadillo moves rightward, landing on the spaces on the trail again and again like in a board game.
After each random move from one to six, the player is given the item on the space landed. This process continues until the player lands on a snake with zero hearts remaining.
Alternatively, if the player makes it to the end of the trail, there is a prizepot of x2,000 which will be awarded in addition to the awards given during and at the end of the bonus.
