International Game Technology’s Powerbucks slot has paid out the “third-largest jackpot in the history of the product” at Casino Nanaimo in British Columbia, Canada.
On February 24, a player won $2,129,070 while playing Powerbucks Wheel of Fortune Cash Link Exotic Far East at the British Columbia Lottery Corporation casino operated by Great Canadian Gaming Corporation.
“British Columbia Lottery Corporation continues to focus on delivering omnichannel gaming experiences that resonate with our valued players in British Columbia,” commented Dan Beebe, Interim Chief Operating Officer at BCLC.
“This incredible IGT win demonstrates BCLC’s commitment to elevating entertainment and excitement for our players.”
This marks the third largest IGT Powerbucks jackpot to date after May 2020 when a player won $2.2m on a Wheel of Fortune slots game on Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation’s OLG.ca.
David Flinn, IGT‘s Senior Vice President Canada, South and Central America, added: “This significant jackpot marks yet another example of how Powerbucks is driving omnichannel jackpot excitement and differentiating our customers’ casinos across Canada.
“Since its Canadian debut with the BCLC, IGT’s industry-leading Powerbucks link has awarded more than 30 life-changing jackpots and continues to offer a distinguished variety of entertaining games and big wins throughout the country.”
