THE SYMBOLS
Low value symbols are represented by the high end of a deck of cards, from Jack through to Ace. These symbols can offer between x0.2 and x2 the player’s wager, depending on the number of matching combinations that land on a single spin.
Meanwhile, shields, helmets, and green and red warriors depict the high value symbols, offering between x0.2 and x10 the player’s bet.
Wild Roman soldiers can also drop into play, covering full reels and substituting for all symbols other than scatters and bonus coins.
Scatter text eagle pendants are available on reels two through four, triggering eight free spins when three land on the same spin.
Finally, gold bonus coins are included in the paytable. Landing six or more coins on the same spin activates the Hold and Win game mode.
THE DETAILS
Throughout the game, gold coins appear with prize values ranging from x1 to x16 the player’s bet. These values can be won in the Hold and Win bonus.
In this game mode, players are taken to an empty reel set on which only the triggering gold coins are present.
Three spins are awarded to land as many additional gold coins on the reels as possible, with each symbol that drops in resetting the number of spins to three.
When all spins have been played out, all prize values on the reels will be awarded to the player.
Gold coins can appear with jackpot values of mini (x20), minor (x50) and major (x150), while the game’s grand jackpot prize (x5,000) is awarded when the bonus game reel set becomes completely filled with coins.
The Hold and Win game mode can also be triggered by a randomly activated treasure chest feature, which places several coins across the board to increase the player’s chance of activating the Hold and Win mode.
Meanwhile, mystery Roman soldier coins can drop into play, randomly revealing one of the three jackpot coin values available at the end of the feature.
In addition, the free spins feature removes all low value playing card symbols from play to increase the win potential.
These free spins can be retriggered by landing three more scatters on the same free turn.
