During the base game, the chest can appear above each reel for any spin. If a Key symbol appears on the reel that the chest is above then it is unlocked and the player is awarded a prize.
The game includes a Banana Toss feature which is triggered at random after the reels have stopped. Two to six bananas are thrown to positions on the reels before pays are awarded.
Additionally, the game has another feature named Ape Smash. This is activated at random for any non-winning spins. As part of this round, the ape will knock out three to six random symbols from the reels. Exiting symbols will cascade down and empty positions are replaced with new symbols. This feature always guarantees a win.
The free games feature is triggered when three or more scatter symbols appear on any reel during one spin. Every additional scatter that lands after the three awards another four free spin. During this round at least one key symbol is guaranteed to appear on each spin.
