Spiffbet has ‘recognised the need for new structure and packaging’ as it renames its in-house game development and distribution of third-party games.
Under the new banner of Rhino Gaming, previously Spiffbet Casino, Spiffbet aims to create a more ‘apparent distinction’ between game development and online gaming towards customers, partners, and other stakeholders.
“We have two separate business areas within Spiffbet,” noted Spiffbet CEO, Henrik Svensson. “The rebranding of our in-house games development is a part of an ongoing process to create a clear group structure. One of the key elements in the acquisition journey Spiffbet has made over the past year is to identify synergies and simplify the structure.”
Under the rename, Rhino Gaming brings together in-house games with Copacabana Gaming and third party providers, such as Lady Luck Games. The core of Rhino Gaming is partly the technology platform that enables the operation and distribution of casino games and its own game studio, focusing on table games and video slots for emerging markets.
Additionally, Rhino Gaming’s range of products and services will also include services where Spiffbet’s expertise in casino operations is packaged together with game content along with other components.
The company states that the goal is to ‘leverage existing expertise’ in online gaming to deliver such services in a way where Spiffbet can create new revenue streams without increasing the fixed costs.
Henrik Svensson emphasises that Spiffbet has a track record of game development and that part of the operations has become more robust: “Over the past year, online gaming has sailed up as the dominating part of our revenue. But it is important to remember that our in-house games development team has been working non-stop during this time of acquisitions.
“Today it is a business with stable revenues. There is an exciting potential in the increased interest in Rhino Gaming’s games as well as the opportunity to combine the games with additional services.”
