THE SYMBOLS
Mammoth Peak features low-value symbols of playing card royals, from Jack through to Ace, with these symbols offering between x0.25 and x2.5 the player’s stake if the right combinations land on a single spin.
The game’s high-value symbols come in the form of animals from the ice age with purple, blue, green and red backgrounds. These symbols offer between x0.25 and x20 the player’s bet, depending on the combinations that land on a single spin.
A golden woolly mammoth wild symbol is also available, substituting for all other symbols except for the scatter and bonus symbols. Depending on the number of wilds that land on a single payline, this wild symbol can payout between x0.5 and x20 the player’s stake.
The game also has a free spins scatter symbol. If three of these symbols appear in the main game, they trigger eight free spins. During these free spins, the woolly mammoth wild symbol transforms into a wild x2 symbol, doubling the payment for every winning payline that it contributes to.
Molten rock bonus scatter symbols can occur during the main and free games. Landing up to five bonus symbols during a game grants a chance to activate the volcano feature and win an additional bonus game.
Once a bonus scatter lands on the reel, it is added to the volcano in the background which eventually erupts, activating the additional bonus game. Six or more bonus symbols on the reel will automatically trigger the bonus game.
THE DETAILS
During the bonus game, only bonus symbols land, sliding down the reels to form a winning line on the bottom row. These bonus symbols could either have no value – increasing the chance of forming a winning line – or payments from x1 to x10 of the bet placed.
When bonus symbols fill the bottom row, the winnings from those symbols are paid before they are removed from the reels.
At the beginning of the bonus game, three respins are granted, and each bonus symbol resets the number of respins back to three. The bonus game continues until there are no respins left.
The bonus game also includes four jackpot symbols valued at x20 (Mini), x50 (Minor), x150 (Major), or x1,000 (Grand) the player’s stake. When a jackpot bonus participates in a winning line, the player will receive the corresponding payment.
