According to new research released by Online Casino Ground – the leading guide to online casinos in the Netherlands – three of Stakelogic’s titles are placed the most popular among Dutch players in the global market, as well as top three of all slots played by them.
The research was carried out following a much-anticipated regulation of the Dutch online sector in October, with the aim to uncover exactly where Dutch player loyalties lie and how it expects to develop looking forward. Despite the new launch, the research revealed how traditional slot gaming appears to continue as the go-to for Dutch players.
Two of the top three in the six most popular slot developers in the Netherlands have their roots in casinos across the country – a reflection of the players’ traditional preferences. However, the rest of the positions are held by online leaders including NetEnt, Play’n Go, Microgaming and BTG.
With the market in the Netherlands being largely land-based, it seems that the country’s players have grown accustomed to the slots that have populated its gambling halls. On the other hand, research also suggested that these same players, once in the online environment, tend to eventually move onto the more contemporary titles from other studios.
With Stakelogic being a domestic developer that began creating digital versions of its popular land-based slots, it seems that diversity in content has proven to be pivotal in ongoing behaviour trends.
