Game and platform developer Vibra Gaming has acquired the rights to bring Condorito, the famous cartoon character, throughout Latin America.
As part of the deal, Vibra Gaming is set to bring Condorito to the world of slots with the company already outlining the development of a game based on the comic book character.
Created in 1949 by René Ríos Boettiger, the cartoon of graphic humour began to gain ‘sustained success’ and in the following years saw the strip be issued with its own publication and distributed in Argentina, Brazil and Chile, with records of sales. It then reached out to other countries, such as Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico, the United States, and even Japan.
Since its creation, it has been an ever-growing phenomenon: from the comic in fortnightly, special and luxury editions to millions of views on its social networks, licensed products for mass consumption and even the animated film, Condorito continues to be a synonymous of success.
Condorito is scheduled to join Vibra Gaming’s portfolio of titles, which includes titles such as Popeye the Sailor and The Phantom, by the end of Q2 2021.
