An initial two titles from Argentine game and platform developer Vibra Gaming have received certification from Gaming Laboratories International, with a further four games in the process of being approved.
Lauding its certification as proof its product portfolio ‘meets the highest international standards’, The Phantom and Spin Island gained its GLI certification, whilst Popeye, Spin Jones, Wild Gems and Clover Fantasy remain under the testing process.
Once certified by this authority, the games may be distributed by operators requiring this type of approval, such as online casinos that operate under the jurisdiction of Loteria de Buenos Aires (LotBa S.E.), which requires this accreditation as a condition.
Ramiro Atucha, CEO at Vibra Gaming, said: “This is a very significant step that we were waiting to take, and it is a key part of this journey we started last year: launching Vibra in the market, establishing ourselves through the certification of our products, and then expanding in the region and beyond.”
The four other slots currently under the approval process are: Popeye Slots, a title about the famous sailor, which also gave the company its first license; Spin Jones and The Crystal Skull, an adventure game about ruins and lost treasures; Wild Gems, inspired by the world of precious stones such as sapphires, emeralds and diamonds; and finally, Clover Fantasy, a game focused on luck where we can find Irish leprechauns, treasures, rainbows, clovers and more.
On the importance given to this type of approvals, Ramiro Atucha added: “It is key in many ways. The certification of our RNG (Random Number Generator), again by GLI, has validated our library engine. This allowed us to become the first Argentine content provider registered with LOTBA. And now we have the first games approved.
“We have always believed in our way of doing things, but now we are really proud to see it reflected in the integrity of our products and the confirmation by one of the most prestigious entities in the industry.”
