SBC’s live events programme is set to make its much-anticipated return with the CasinoBeats Summit 2021 conference and exhibition at the InterContinental in St Julian’s, Malta on 13-15 July.
The dedicated igaming industry event will take place in a special integrated live and online format, with a selection of senior executives and decision makers attending in person and a wider international audience joining remotely for a parallel virtual version of the event.
Attendee numbers at the venue will be limited to help ensure delegate safety and SBC will work closely with the management of the five-star InterContinental hotel to implement a full event safety plan, which will include the up-to-date guidance of the Maltese government.
Online casino executives who travel to the venue will be able to attend live conference sessions, including content focused on the future of slots and game development, and the next generation of igaming marketing strategies. They will also have access via the virtual conference stage to the online content, which features a leadership track and an international markets programme examining what the latest developments in key territories mean for the industry.
On the final day of the event, the InterContinental will host the inaugural Game Developer Awards, which will honour the best of the online casino industry in 14 categories that recognise excellence in performance, creation and marketing.
Among the games under consideration by the judges will be a host of new titles presented by slot developers during the CasinoBeats Summit exhibition, which will also feature the latest products and services from many of the industry’s most innovative suppliers.
Central to the live delegate experience is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with industry colleagues and meet new contacts during the all-inclusive networking programme. This includes evening parties at Infinity by Hugo’s on 14 July and Casino Malta on 15 July, both with complimentary food and drinks.
The online version of CasinoBeats Summit is designed to allow industry professionals unable to travel to Malta in July to benefit from the same exchange of ideas and chance to connect with the cream of the European igaming industry that attendees at the venue will enjoy.
Virtual delegates can look forward to streams of both the live and online conference content, a selection of video-conferencing networking roundtables, and a digital version of the exhibition, complete with product presentations and games showcases.
SBC CEO & Founder Rasmus Sojmark said: “We’re delighted to restart our live events programme with CasinoBeats Summit and to return to Malta, where the SBC team have always received such a warm welcome from the local igaming community.
“The well being of delegates has been at the forefront of our thinking in the planning of the event. In conjunction with the venue, we have devised a plan to ensure all the necessary measures are in place to create a safe environment, while providing the best possible experience for attendees.
“We’ve also developed a great format that will work well for both delegates at the InterContinental and online attendees, so people from across the igaming industry can look forward to enjoying high-level discussions, viewing the latest games, and connecting with decision makers.”
CasinoBeats Summit is part of Malta’s first Summer iGaming Week, which will be delivered jointly by SBC Events, KPMG Malta and Gaming Malta. The programme also features the KPMG Malta Gaming eSummit at the Westin Dragonara in St Julian’s on 13 July.
