Players of SciPlay’s Quick Hit Slots title have been celebrating their part in the company’s recent Toys for Tots campaign drive.
More than one million Quick Hit Slots’ monthly active users accumulated ‘magic points’ to contribute to the toy drive between December 10 and 26, with one toy donated for every 50,000 points earned.
The interactive, in-game experience enabled both SciPlay and its customers to raise more than $18,700 for the Toys for Tots initiative, donating more than 3,700 toys across the Christmas period.
Quick Hit Slots users celebrated the initiative through the app’s community page, with one commenting: “Thank you for your great gift…that is an amazing gesture.”
Another user added, “It’s a good feeling knowing you gave a helping hand…keep doing good, Quick Hit community.”
The Toys for Tots campaign is an annual initiative which collects new toys to give to disadvantaged children so they can fully experience the joy of opening gifts on Christmas morning.
