THE SYMBOLS
Working up the paytable, low value symbols are represented by the high end of a deck of cards, from nine through to Ace. If the right number of winning combinations land on a single spin, these symbols can offer between x0.2 and x2 the player’s wager.
Meanwhile, fishing tool boxes, life rings, floats, seagulls and fishing rods depict the high value symbols, offering between x0.5 and x15 the player’s chosen bet.
Fish symbols are able to appear on reels three, four, five and six, displaying multiplied bet amount values that can be won during the game’s several bonus features.
Wild fisherman symbols can also drop into play on reels one and two, substituting for all symbols other than the fish prizes. Landing two wilds on the same spin will activate the big catch feature, which in turn can trigger the insane catch feature.
THE DETAILS
When two wild symbols appear on the first two reels, the big catch feature occurs, causing the remaining four reels to extend from three symbols high to five. All fish symbols that drop into play on the remaining four reels will award their prizes as winnings during this feature.
Additionally, a special fish symbol can appear on the sixth reel during the big catch, presenting a number of spins from two to four. This number represents the number of spins to be awarded in the insane catch game mode, which is triggered when the special fish symbol appears.
In the insane catch game mode, reels one and two combine into one multiplier reel, while the remaining four columns turn into an empty grid.
As this game mode begins, players are given three spins to land as many fish symbols on the empty grid as possible, with each fish prize value being enhanced by a multiplier that is revealed in the first two reels on every insane catch spin.
These multipliers range from x1 to x10 and will apply themselves to every fish symbol present on the empty grid.
Special fish symbols can also appear in the insane catch grid, awarding additional spins for the game mode.
Furthermore, treasure chest symbols can also drop into play for this feature, awarding both a fish prize and a multiplier value to be applied to all fish symbols on the reels, before the overall multiplier is applied at the very end of the spin.
