Within the game, the magic book symbol acts as a scatter and wild symbol to form any available winning combination in the regular game as well as during the free spins.
If the player lands three, four, or five scatter symbols, they are awarded ten free spins. At that point one game symbol, other than the book, will be randomly picked to become the expanding symbol for the duration of the free spins.
When the special expanding symbol lands, it covers the whole reel. The expanding symbol winning combination does not have to be on adjacent reels nor start from the leftmost reel. Furthermore, free spins can be re-triggered in this round.
