SYMBOLS
Various coloured teeth are the game’s low-value symbols, offering returns of between x0.2 and x4 the player’s bet, depending on the number of these symbols that land along the requisite paylines.
Moving up the paytable, five screaming dental patients are the higher-value symbols. These return between x0.6 and x10 the player’s bet.
The game also has a dentist wild symbol that substitutes for all regular symbols. Wild symbols return x10 the player’s wager if five land along the requisite paylines.
DETAILS
The game features random multipliers ranging from x2 to x5 that can appear in the base game and in the free spins mode on low- and high-paying symbols.
Landing three or more fake teeth symbols triggers the pick-a-prize feature that awards players the possibility of choosing prizes from 25 jars. Landing three, four or five fake teeth symbols awards five, 10 and 15 picks, respectively.
Landing two free spin symbols on reels two and four triggers 10 free spins. If two free spin symbols land during the free spins game, the player is awarded an additional 10 spins.
When a scatter symbol lands, the player is awarded scatter pay of x1 bet for each scatter symbol on the board, to a maximum of five scatter symbols.
Players have the option to buy immediate access to a bonus feature through the buy bonus feature.
WHAT THEY SAY
Yana Hoha, Senior Animator at Yggdrasil, commented: “When the Slightly Edgy team pitched the concept, I knew straight away I wanted to work on it because I’m a huge fan of dark and creepy atmospheres.
“While developing the art style, I pictured it as a window into Sweeney Todd’s house, where players can peek into the character’s world. My focus was on bringing that atmosphere to life by combining different worlds and adding details that make the environment feel creepy and interesting, rather than scary.”
