BGaming has revealed plans for further collaborations after celebrating the launch Snoop Dogg Dollars, its first-ever celebrity-branded slot release.
Marina Ostrovtsova, CEO of BGaming, confirmed the Maltese-based provider’s plans in an interview at the SBC Summit Lisbon with Danny Lee, Senior Journalist for SlotBeats.
She said: “We are planning, of course, to further collaborate with influencers and streamers that align with our vision. For instance, at the moment, we are doing a collaboration with [the gaming and live streaming platform] Kick which should be a blast.
“We are definitely planning to develop further and be able to produce the products that will be a match to all the player’s preferences. We are deeply involved with understanding players.”
Ostrovtsova also hailed the opportunity to work with the “huge icon” Snoop Dogg in the supplier’s latest collaboration with Roobet.
“Snoop Dogg is undoubtedly one of the most iconic characters and influencers on a global scale,” she enthused.
“His team has actively participated in shaping the pictures that we built. I think it’s very cool that they can say to the world that we’re working with Snoop Dogg and his team. His voiceover that we’ve added to the game is probably the coolest thing and it’s added some unique character.”
Collaboration was a key theme throughout the interview, and Ostrovtsova also spoke about BGaming’s “When Art Meets Gaming” project.
In each country the supplier visits, it commissions local artists to bring to life characters from its range of slots. Ahead of SBC Summit Lisbon, BGaming teamed up with Portuguese street artist Gonçalo MAR who used floral and leaf designs to reimagine characters from games such as Aztec Clusters, Elvis Frog TRUEWAYS and Aztec Magic Megaways.
“At BGaming we love to push the boundaries and we always state that it can be done through collaboration,” Ostrovtsova explained.
“We like to make a bold statement because everybody’s visiting and we need something creative so this is how the project was born. This is the seventh collaboration that we have and we add something more each time we participate with a new artist.
“Over time we have refined this process and each time we add some cultural things to all of the processes, which stimulates the team to find creativity in everything.”
