Low value symbols are depicted as the different suits in a deck of cards, with clubs, diamonds, spades and hearts. These symbols can offer between x0.1 and x0.5 the player’s bet, depending on the amount of matching combinations that land on a single spin.
Next up, green horse and blue clawed monsters represent the medium value symbols, offering between x0.2 and x1 the player’s preferred stake.
High-paying symbols come in the form of medusa and a red-faced monster. If the right amount of paying combinations land at once then these symbols can offer between x0.25 and x2.
Wild skull symbols can also land on the reels, substituting for all symbols other than the scatter.
Finally, a free spins text symbol depicts the scatter, triggering the free spins bonus if five or more land on the reels at once.
THE DETAILS
Champion of the Underworld is a Gigablox title, meaning that on every spin, larger versions of the normal symbols can appear, with sizes of 2×2, 3×3 and 4×4. These symbols act as if the same symbol was placed in every cell that the Gigablox appears in.
Landing the same symbols on one reel as part of a left-to-right payline spanning across multiple rows will multiply the payout.
Randomly during the base game, the Wild Fight feature can be triggered. This causes Hades to start a fight with the normal-sized and Gigablox monster symbols, turning each defeated monster into a wild to increase the win potential.
With the free spins feature, players are awarded a free spin for every scatter that landed to trigger the game mode. Gigablox free spins can appear on the reels to activate the bonus game.
Every Wild Fight that is won during the bonus free spins can increase a multiplier at the side of the reels that will be applied to the final payout of the free spins rounds. Winning nine, 11, 13, 15 and 17 Wild Fights will award a x2, x3, x5, x10 and x25 multiplier respectively.
When awarded their free spins, players can choose to gamble these free turns in a bid to earn more. To do this, players must choose one golden sword out of a spinning wheel that hides seven gold swords amongst three broken swords.
Choosing a golden sword will award an additional free spins, whereas choosing a broken sword will cause the player to lose all spins and return to the base game.
Alternatively, players can gamble to win seven extra spins by choosing one of two golden swords amongst eight broken swords.
