Energy Joker: Hold and Win is a 5×3 reel slot with five-paylines and a grand jackpot prize of x5,000 the player’s stake.
THE SYMBOLS
Low value symbols are depicted as cherries, plums, oranges and lemons. These symbols offer between x1 and x10 the player’s wager, depending on the number of paying combinations that land on a single spin.
Next up, grapes and watermelons represent the medium value symbols, offering between x2.5 and x25 the player’s chosen bet.
High value symbols come in the form of bells, bars and lucky sevens. If the right number of paying combinations fall on one turn, these bell symbols can provide wins between x4 and x100 the player’s stake.
Gold and blue energy coins can drop into play, triggering the hold-and-win game mode if a combination of six or more coins appears on the same turn. Gold coins will appear with monetary prizes, ranging from x1 to x10 the chosen bet.
Finally, joker wild symbols are available, substituting for all symbols other than gold and blue energy coins.
THE DETAILS
In the hold-and-win game mode, players are given three spins to land as many coin prizes on the reels as possible. Each coin that drops in will reset the number of spins to three, prolonging the feature.
While gold coins drop in to apply their prize values once the feature draws to a close, the blue energy coins enhance the feature in a different way.
When dropping into play, energy coins will collect the values of all other coins on the reel set, including other blue energy coins.
Gold coins can also drop in, displaying jackpot values that can also be collected by the energy coins. These jackpot prizes include mini (x25), minor (x50) and major (x150).
Meanwhile, landing a full board of 15 coins will award the game’s grand jackpot prize of x1,000.
Joker wild symbols can appear in this game mode, but will not stay sticky in their positions as the coin symbols do. These joker symbols cause multipliers to appear in the cells they drop into, which will enhance any coins that then drop into those cells on subsequent spins.
Available multipliers include x2, x3, x4, x5 and x10, and several multipliers can drop into the same cell during the feature. With the game’s ‘pile of gold’ feature, any coin that appears throughout the base game can randomly trigger the bonus feature.
