THE SYMBOLS
Low value symbols come in the form of playing card royals, from Jack through to Ace. These symbols can offer between x0.2 and x3.75 the player’s stake, depending on the number of winning combinations that land on a single spin.
Meanwhile, fishing bobbers, leaves, fish bait and fishing rod handles depict the high value symbols, offering between x1.5 and x15 the player’s bet.
Fish symbols can also drop into play, displaying monetary values between x0.2 and x50 the player’s wager. Collect fisherman can also appear on the fifth reel, collecting all fish values that appear on the same spin.
Wild text symbols are also available, substituting for all symbols other than the 1up fish, fish symbols, collect symbols and free spins scatters.
Special fish 1up symbols can appear, impacting a multiplier reel that sits above the board. This multiplier reel displays multipliers from x1 to x10 and will progress with each 1up symbol that drops into play.
When a fish symbol win is activated by the collect symbols, the current multiplier that has been reached will be applied to the fish symbol win. Once this occurs, the multiplier will reset down to x1.
Finally, free spins text scatters are included, triggering 10 free spins and an instant payout of x3 if three scatters land on the same spin.
THE DETAILS
In the free spins game mode, the multiplier reel will stay in its progressive position for the duration of the free spins. When reaching x4, x7 and x10, the multiplier reel will award five extra free spins each time, prolonging the bonus game mode.
Additionally, base game symbols can appear with shell embellishments. Landing these shells can trigger the hold and win-style bonus game mode.
With this feature, players are given three spins on an empty reel set to land as many fish or jackpot symbols on the reels as possible, with each symbol that drops in resetting the number of spins to three.
Three jackpot symbols are available – mini (x30), midi (x100) and maxi (x500) – however, if players manage to fill the reel set with fish or jackpot symbols, they will be awarded the mega jackpot prize of x5,000.
To win the three smaller jackpot prizes, players must collect three or more identical jackpot symbols throughout the bonus game mode.
