THE SYMBOLS
Low value symbols come in the form of playing card royals, from Jack through to Ace. If the right amount of matching combinations land on a single spin, these symbols can offer between x0.2 and x1.4 the player’s stake.
Next up, shackles, double-edged daggers, maces and helmets depict the medium value symbols, offering between x1 and x30 the player’s preferred bet.
High value symbols are represented by three gladiator characters of yellow, blue and red colour. These symbols work as wilds and scatters, while offering payouts of x30 for a five-of-a-kind win.
As wilds, these symbols substitute for all symbols in the game. Whenever any gladiator symbols land on the reels, an enhanced respins is offered.
THE DETAILS
When the red gladiator lands on the reels and any potential payouts have been provided, a respin will occur with three to five wilds added to the reels.
If the blue gladiator lands, the respin will place one to two full wild reels on the board. The yellow gladiator respin adds two to three multiplier wilds on the reels, with values of x2 or x3.
If two different gladiators land on the same spin, the free spins battle feature will be activated with players having to choose between the two scatters that have landed on the board, picking which one they think will win the battle.
The free spin battle mode pits the two gladiators on the triggering scatters against each other. Landing five of the same gladiator scatter on the same spin will give a respective respin for that gladiator while the other battling gladiator loses a life. .
Three lives lost for one gladiator will end the free spins feature, and each respin that occurs will have a random multiplier of x2, x5, x10 and x50.
Players win x7.5 if they guessed the winning gladiator at the start of the feature.
