Stakelogic’s latest slot release has transported players to an apocalyptic ancient Greece in which a Spartan army faces a battle like no other in Spartans vs Zombies Multipays.

THE SYMBOLS
Low value symbols are represented by the high end of a deck of cards, from 10 through to Ace. If the right amount of matching combinations appear at once, these symbols can offer between x0.1 and x2 the player’s bet.
Next up, spears, helmets, Greek arenas and halls depict the medium value symbols, offering between x0.4 and x12 the player’s preferred stake.
Two zombies and two Spartan warriors depict the high value symbols, forming mix and match combinations with their respective identities that can offer between x2.5 and x42.5 the player’s wager.
Scatter trophy symbols are available on reels one, three and five, triggering one of two free spins game modes if three appear on the same spin.
Finally, wild text symbols can drop into play on reels two, three, four and five, substituting for all symbols other than the trophy scatter.
THE DETAILS
Throughout the base game, zombies and Spartans can appear with ‘Z’ and ‘S’ embellishments. When this occurs, these embellishments will be added to their respective meters to the side of the reels.
Collecting 50 embellishments in these meters will trigger the respective side’s free spins game mode, with zombie free spins and Spartan free spins features on offer.
Three hearts sit next to these meters, with one heart going empty each time a spin occurs without one of its respective embellishments appearing. If all three hearts go empty, the meter will reset to zero.
Each time a zombie or Spartan symbol appears with these embellishments, the heart meter will fill up and the free spins meter will continue to fill up.
In the zombie free spins, eight spins are awarded while between one and two wilds are guaranteed to land on each spin. If two wilds drop in, the second one will have a multiplier between x2 and x10 to be applied to any potential wins.
Eight spins are also awarded in the Spartans game mode, while a x2 win multiplier is provided at the beginning of the feature. Before the Spartan spins begin, players are awarded two pick bonuses, selected from a number of shields hiding feature-enhancing prizes such as extra spins or a higher multiplier.
Each scatter symbol that drops into play, in either game mode, will award an additional free spin.
Players can buy access to the Spartan free spins for x100 their stake, while the zombie free spins mode costs x200.
With Stakelogic’s Multipays mechanic, paylines payout at three-of-a-kind wins, before paying out again if a four-of-a-kind win appears afterwards. This can then occur again if a five-of-a-kind win is possible, meaning that players can get paid three times for one five-of-a-kind win.
With this new mechanic, the first three reels will stop spinning to reveal the three-of-a-kind win while the final two reels continue spinning, awarding the payout for the three-symbol win before finding out if a four or five-symbol win can be formed.
Furthermore, Stakelogic’s Super Stake feature is also available, allowing players to increase their stake slightly in order to gain a higher chance of landing bonus symbols.
