Symbols in the game include four classic card-suit royals offering x4 to x5 the bet for combinations of five-of-a-kind, topped by five steel weapons worth x6 to x40 the bet for five on a line.
Moving onto special symbols, during base gameplay the blacksmith acts as a wild, while at random points his tools may heat up and drop into the barrel, causing steam to rise and a random modifier to appear. This triggers either the lock and spin, bonus frenzy, or forge your weapon features.

The title comes with a lock and spin feature, a bonus frenzy, a forge your weapon bonus, a free spins mode and a buy the bonus option.
THE DETAILS
Starting with the lock and spin feature, this will see any stacked wilds locking into place and a respin occuring. If any reel remains unlocked, an extra spin will be awarded.
Meanwhile, the bonus frenzy feature adds more scatter symbols to the reels, increasing the chances of triggering the free spins bonus. These are set on fire as they pass.
Lastly, the forge your weapon bonus sees players smash through rock three times to reveal a weapon, which will appear stacked on the reels.
In order to activate the free spins bonus, if three or more bonus symbols land on the reels it will activate the free spins mode, where five forges are lit upon entering. On each spin, one or more of these forges may be activated, adding a wild to the reel above.
Additionally, a number of wilds corresponding to the number of scatters landed will be added to the reels for the duration of the feature.
These special symbols will move up one step per spin, and once all forges have been extinguished and all wilds are out of view, the round ends. At this point, there is a chance that the forges will be relit, and the bonus will continue.
Finally, in permitted jurisdictions, players also have the option to buy their way into the bonus at a cost of x100 their stake.
