Amusnet eyes land-based expansion in Greece

Amusnet has set its sights on expanding into Greece’s land-based sector to build on its iGaming success in the nation.

Speaking ahead of the Casino Operation Summit in Thessaloniki, the company’s Country Manager for Greece, Jelena Stankovic, confirmed that it is planning to undertake its first installations in casinos in Greece.

Stankovic said: “Our goal is not simply to enter the market. It is to replicate and expand our success by becoming a long-term partner for operators across both verticals.

“We already have productions lined up for some of the biggest operators in Greece and Cyprus, and we are expecting the first installations any day now. This is especially important because first installations create visibility, trust, and long-term commercial opportunities.”

Greece’s gambling market is continuing to go from strength to strength, and earlier this month the Hellenic Gaming Commission reported record turnover of €16.7bn in 2025, up 6.9% compared to 2024.

Amusnet has a significant presence within the iGaming sector and has partnerships with a number of operators, including Entain and Betsson.

Looking ahead to how Amusnet plans to build in the casino market, the developer pointed to the ‘key structural advantage’ provided by having an omnichannel presence.

“Our content is already known and trusted by users,” explained Stankovic. “That familiarity significantly reduces the barrier to entry when transitioning into land-based environments.”
