BGaming has celebrated the finale of its second Streamers Battle of the year, as the competition provided winning streamers with $25,000 in prizes.
Taking place from June 17 – 30 and organised in collaboration with Scatters Club and Casinolytics, the tournament saw 18 streamers play a roster of 20 BGaming slot releases, including Book of Kemet, Soccermania, Gold Rush Johnny Cash and Royal High-Road.
Of those 18, 13 participants – from Ukraine, Spain, Chile, Turkey, Greece, Hungary and Andorra – made the final in which they had 48-hours to complete several quests hidden within BGaming’s “top games”.
Maksim Krotau, Streamers Relations at BGaming, said: “We are delighted to see how successful the Streamers tournament series continues to be. As part of our partnership with Casinolytics and Scatters Club, we will sponsor four more major events over the rest of 2023.
“June’s Streamers Race proved to be the biggest event yet and presented a great opportunity to embrace the wonderful player and streamer community. We hope to see them return in August.”
The second Streamers Battle was also prolonged as two streamers found themselves with the same number of points, leading to an additional battle on July 5 for second place.
As a result of the competition, MrBigSpin was announced as winner, gaining a $10,000 first place prize, while second place Ruben won $4,000 ahead of third place Lord Treptuin, who took hom $3,000.
The remainder of the $25,000 prize money was dished out amongst the remainder of the top ten finishers, while the content garnered over 18,500 viewers across the 104 hours of streams.
“We could never have anticipated how popular our events would become when they first launched in 2022,” added Ellina Minkevich, Event Manager at Scatters Club.
“The year, it has been amazing to see the worldwide streaming community come together to enjoy BGaming’s games and create fresh content. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store.”
