Swedish game developer Elk Studios has confirmed its new X-iter slot gaming platform will be released to punters on March 2.
The new product ‘allows players to jump right into the action’ via a range of predefined modes, each one tailored to fit each slot and its unique features.
Players will be able to use the platform to experience the core of each game and repeatedly pick their favourite scenario.
The modes vary from guaranteed base game features, spins with growing win multipliers or slots with a straight entry to the bonus games.
Additionally, the five modes range from 25x to 300x the player’s bet, which gamers can choose according to their own preferences. Total stakes can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the bet level.
“The evolution of online gaming has made drastic developments during the last couple of years,” said Tiger Holmgren, casino product manager at ELK Studios.
“An evolving and more aware target group demands a deeper, richer, and more engaging gaming experience.
“Bonus buys have addressed this but only to some extent, with players staking up to2000x bet for Super Bonuses. With X-iter we want to provide a full range of gamemodes to players, so they can pick and choose how they want to play ELK games.”
Furthermore, the instant access to features enabled by the new platform means player’s will be able to enjoy the gaming experience for shorter sessions. The various selectable modes will also allow players to choose options depending on the risks or rewards.
Although the product’s main launch will take place on 2 March, it will be available on LeoVegas from February 15.

The first title to be launched on the platform will be ELK’s release Bompers, which also debuts on 2 March, and is the third game in The ELK Gravity Series.
