Exoplay has furthered its reach across the European igaming market after gaining a licence to provide proprietary online casino titles in Greece.

Upon receiving the Online Games of Chance licence from the Hellenic Gaming Commission, Exoplay can now enhance the visibility of its igaming releases in the nation by forming partnerships with Greek-regulated operators.

Constantine Koumatos, Exoplay Managing Director, commented: “We are absolutely excited to receive the green light for entering one of the most competitive, demanding and dynamic markets in Europe.”

Being granted the Type 2 licence signals Exoplay as just the 19th supplier to be permitted a Greek gaming licence since the market became regulated back in August 2021.

Other suppliers to have gained a Greek licence include Air Dice, Yggdrasil, Galaxsys, Red Rake Gaming, Wazdan and Spinomenal

Exoplay’s licence will remain active for the next seven years, costing the supplier €2m to provide its products to Greek operators until 2030.

Koumatos added: “Our vision is to offer a gaming proposition which will stand out and stand apart amongst other, characteristically identical, we ourselves and online casinos are very much looking forward to presenting ours to the Greek players and to the world.”

The supplier is set to launch an unnamed subsidiary brand to focus on targeting Greece’s igaming market, with plans to enter the nation in Q2 2024.
