A Florida resident was awarded a jackpot of $1m at a Seminole casino after placing a $50 bet on an Aristocrat Gaming title.
Playing Dragon Link’s progressive slot game, the player – who was from Clearwater, Florida – racked up a total win of $1,241,642.26 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa.
Speaking on her win, the Clearwater player stated: “All I wanted for Christmas was to hit that progressive jackpot. I still can’t believe my holiday wish came true!”
In celebration of the jackpot, all 642 slot players who had inserted their Seminole Wild Card into a machine within 15 minutes of the jackpot being awarded won a $100 bonus free play.
